Sophie is in the fourth year of her maths degree at the University of Edinburgh. She spends her free time drawing Celtic knots and fangirling over Leonardo da Vinci. She has three cats (if Sophie has n cats, the qualification for being a ‘crazy cat lady’ is always n + 1 cats) called Pushkin, Norma, and Idgie, who take great pleasure disrupting any mathematical progress—usually by sitting on it.
