post

Spring has sprung once more and that means Issue 21 of Chalkdust will be springing into being at 10:00 on Monday 17 March. Thanks to fence posts v fence panels it is ten years since the first issue was released in March 2015. If, like us, you want an excuse to celebrate then you can preorder printed copies now!.

We’re really looking forward to sharing the latest issue with you. Inside you will find the usual wide range of articles, we have an interview with Dame Alison Etheridge, the president of the Academy for the Mathematical Sciences; we discover the link between people and mugs; and learn how to skim potatoes. There will also be all the regular features you’ve come to know and love, including Dear Dirichlet (the fan favourite!), our crossnumber and more! This issue we also unveil the winner of the 2024 Chalkdust Book of the Year.

You can share your excitement about the upcoming issue with us on social media using the hashtag #chalkdust21.

You can still order physical copies of issues 15, 16, 17, 19 and 20, or view issues 1 to 20 as pdfs.
